Event details

Australia's largest annual steam festival, centred on the Maitland railway station precinct. Mainline steam locomotives run heritage train services, and traction engines, steam rollers, stationary engines and vintage machinery are fired up and worked across the weekend. There are also vintage vehicle displays, street entertainment and market stalls. 2027 is the 40th anniversary event.
