Event details

The Birchip Cropping Group's Main Field Day is the Wimmera-Mallee's flagship broadacre cropping research day, held in the paddock at Curyo. Alongside trial walks and agronomy sessions, the 2026 program includes a dedicated autonomous machinery demonstration from 1:30pm featuring the Ornata retrofit system, which converts a conventional tractor into an autonomous machine linked to a Melbourne operations centre. Farm equipment, ag-tech and plant suppliers exhibit to a large grower audience.
