Event details

A three day working steam and heritage machinery festival held over the Tasmanian March long weekend at Sheffield. It brings together one of the largest collections of working steam machinery in Australia, with traction engines, steam train rides, ploughing demonstrations and pioneer trade displays. There is an indoor shed of exhibits plus outdoor working areas, stalls and food vendors. A wood chopping competition runs on the Monday.
